Memorial Mountain is a place "with a view" in the un-touched Boreal Forest where special pets are given their final resting place. We offer gravesites complete with headstone, caskets, burial services, and even a fitting funeral if requested. Memorial Mountain is a service offered by the Trailrunners Pet Resort and K9 Training Center. |

Engraved Head Stones are available also, (see below). We only place natural fieldstone headstones on Memorial Mountain to preserve the beauty of the untouched boreal forest. We can provide you with a small version of the headstone to keep at your home or in your garden, while the other larger one remains here on the grave site. |

The stones come in three sizes small, medium and large. The small stones are between 6 to 8 inches across. The medium stones are between 8 to 10 inches across and the large stones are greater than 10 inches across. Every stone is custom designed for you. Each stone includes up to 3 lines of text and each line can have up to 20 characters. The letters are deeply carved and filled with black pigment for a greater contrast. Customize your stone with a heart, an animal (Dog Cat Bird Horse anything) silhouette, or dog, cat or bird footprints |

My friend is loyal and eager to please I'd sit in my chair, his head on my knees I'd stroke his back and pat him on the side The things he would do filled my heart with pride He watched my house and my family too He was always there to look over you Never my house did I have to lock A bark and a growl at the very first knock
Unconditional love is what he gave to me From the look in his eye it was all you could see Sometimes I'd yell "be quiet, lay down" He'd lay in the corner and not make a sound As he grew old and couldn't get around I forgot how he'd greet me with a leap and a bound
Soon came the time he could no longer stand on his own I picked him up and carried him to see God's home On the way there I remembered all the good years I looked at my friend through all of my tears
I told him I loved him Soon the pain would be gone I did the hardest thing I ever have done
I went the last mile I was there to the end I know now why they called him "Man's Best Friend"
